HPL is safe for long-term hair removal because it uses optical light energy.

A quartz bulb delivers the optical light pulse, which is directed into the skin. The light energy is absorbed by the pigment in the hair shaft and is transformed into heat. This heat targets hair growth while leaving the surrounding skin unaffected*.

The BellaFlash Pro is safe for both women and men. It is designed for use on the face (cheekbones down), legs, arms, underarms, bikini line, and other areas of the body where unwanted hair grows.

Our patented HPL technology is best suited for lighter skin tones and darker hair. The BellaFlash Pro can treat a wider range of skin tones and hair colours but is ideal for use with lighter skin tones (I - V on the Fitzpatrick Skin Tone Classification Scale) and brown to black hair.

With five available energy levels, you can choose the level you’re most comfortable with. We recommend starting at level 1 and gradually increasing levels as you progress through your treatments.

Remove hairs quickly thanks to the patented Touch&Glide technology

Removing hairs using a razor, epilator or by waxing can take up a great deal of time, especially when you want to remove hair from multiple areas. BellaFlash Pro uses a patented Touch&Glide technology – one button that turns the device on and controls the energy levels so hairs can be removed quickly and effortlessly. This means you no longer have to press a pulse button in order to emit a light pulse, making treatments quick and effortless!

Simply place the treatment window against the skin of desired treatment area and the BellaFlash Pro automatically emits a light pulse. You can treat a small area by moving the device from one spot to the next or allow the device to glide across a larger area, completing your sessions in no time.

HOW TO USE

Get your BellaFlash Pro device ready to remove unwanted body hair by following these steps:

1. Remove the BellaFlash Pro hair removal device and other components from the box.
2. Plug the power cord into the BellaFlash Pro device socket.
3. Plug the other end of the power cord into an electrical outlet.
4. All the LED lights will blink on and off again to indicate the device is getting power. Your BellaFlash Pro is now ready to use.

Treating with BellaFlash Pro for the first time

Ready to begin treatment? Here’s how you can prepare yourself.

1. The skin should be shaved, clean, dry and free of any powders, antiperspirants or deodorants.
2. Press the power button briefly. The Energy Level 1 LED will turn on. About one second later, the Ready Indicator Light will turn on. The device is now set to deliver the lowest energy level pulses. It is ready for you to trigger the first pulse.
3. It is recommended to start at Level 1 and test each area with each level to determine the most suitable one for your skin. You may find different areas can tolerate different levels.

Once you have determined the most comfortable level for the area being treated, you can change the energy level by pressing the power button quickly and repeatedly to increase the energy level from 1 to 5 and from 5 directly back to 1, cyclically, until the desired energy level is set. The Energy Level Indicator Lights will indicate the energy level setting.

4. Apply the treatment surface to the skin, ensuring there is full contact with the skin. Once the skin tone sensor safely reads the skin tone, a pulse of light will automatically be emitted. You will see a bright flash of light and simultaneously hear a subtle pop sound, which is a normal noise for the device. You may feel a mild sensation of warmth and tingling.

If you see no light pulse, and the Ready Indicator Light blinks rapidly, this is now the skin color warning indicator light alerting you that your skin tone is too dark for safe application.

5. Move the treatment surface to another area of skin. Administer one pulse at a time at your chosen energy level. Work in rows to cover the desired treatment area avoiding both gaps and overlaps between pulses.

BellaFlash Pro can be applied in two ways: “Pulsing” and “Gliding”.

Pulsing is the best technique for working at higher energy levels or spot treating.

Press the treatment surface against your skin. After each pulse, move the treatment surface to the next spot. Keep doing this pulsing action for the area you are treating.

Avoid gaps or overlaps as you use the device.

Gliding is the best technique for working at lower energy levels and/or large coverage areas.

Press the treatment surface firmly against your skin and slowly glide over your skin. Make sure that the treatment surface is always touching your skin. At lower energy levels, the device takes only 1-1.5 seconds to recharge between pulses. This generates a nonstop sequence of flashes.

Glide at a speed so that you avoid gaps or overlaps.

HOW DOES IT WORK?

BellaFlash PRO emits a pulse of energy (HPL) which is absorbed by the pigment in the hair shaft. 

Hairs that are in the Anagen growth cycle are targeted by the energy and disabled, preventing future growth. 

After a series of treatments, users report less hair growth in the treatment area, and eventually the hair will cease to grow.

HOW LONG BEFORE I'M HAIR FREE?

Start by using your device once every 2 weeks for the first 4 to 5 sessions. After that you only need to treat once a month or as needed.

You will start to see results with your Silk’n system in about 3-4 sessions or about 6-8 weeks. You will notice dramatic changes in your hair structure, it will become much finer and much thinner. You will also notice that the growth pattern will slow dramatically. Full hair removal can take up to 6 months. Silk’n hair removal is simple, safe, and effective with permanent results.

IT IS NOT RECOMMENDED FOR:

Dark or tanned skin - the light will not detect the difference between skin and hair pigment, therefore it will not flash and treatment will not be effective.

Blonde, grey or white hair – these individuals lack pigment in their hair and are not candidates for treatment
