Silk’n at Miami Swim Fashion Week
Silk’n had the honor of sponsoring the Indah Miami Swim Fashion Week Show over the weekend! It was such an exciting event and we were happy to be a part of it. The event was held at WET lounge, at the W South Beach. Silk’n sponsored the brand Indah. The swimwear collection was titled Collage.
The designer of the collection is Libby Desantis. Collage was inspired from looks from many different eras, including the 20’s, 70’s, 80’s, and 90’s. Desantis worked with artist Anya Brock, whose abstract painting was used for the color palette. The looks contained bright colors contrasted with darker hues. All the pieces were handmade and contained chains, studs, sequins, leather, lace, shag and bones, which added an “edgy statement to wearable fashion”. Libby describes her collection using the word “BADASS”. Check out some photos of the backstage photos below.
