Combining Creams with Devices

You’ve finally decided to commit to an anti-aging treatment plan. The first step is designing one to meet your needs and make sure you don’t squander your time and money. Aging is natural and inevitable so reversing its effects is a complicated process. Luckily, there’s an effective and non-invasive device, the Titan, that can help you achieve the skin you want. Equally important, there are creams that when paired with the Titan can enhance its benefits.

The issue most have when trying to find the right cream is that the options are endless. Every drug store and makeup counter offers various brands and products, all of which, promise the same youthful skin without any harmful side effects. You don’t want to waste your money or suffer the frustration that comes with using an anti-aging cream that doesn’t work or winds up irritating your skin.

We’re excited to help you discover a moisturizing cream to pair up with your Titan anti-aging device. Our aim is to educate you on what ingredients you should be looking for and how to avoid being persuaded by shiny packaging. We will also provide you with recommendations for our favorite creams that can hydrate even the driest skin.

Don’t be Deceived

When perusing the beauty aisles at a department or drug store, it’s hard to differentiate which anti- aging cream is worth its price. They are designed to be eye-catching so it’s hard to know what’s going to work, and what isn’t, when every container makes the same promise to reduce wrinkles, reverse sun damage and deliver that elusive youthful glow. While many are dubious at best, others really do contain ingredients and nutrients that have been proven to make skin look younger.

Remember, these over-the-counter creams (meaning they don’t require a prescription) aren’t held to a scientific standard since they aren’t classified as drugs. They are clinically tested but their effectiveness is often more a product of marketing than scientific research. The point is, these aren’t miracle cures that will suddenly make your skin look like it did when you were in your teens.

Creams alone probably won’t get the job done but as part of an anti-aging regiment they can help improve the look of your skin. What would be great is if you could find a cream that can effectively pair with your anti-aging device. They do exist but it doesn’t hurt to shop with a touch of skepticism as you search for the solution that’s best for you.

What Makes a Good Anti-Aging Cream?

Now that we’ve dispelled some of the misconceptions with respect to average creams, the question is, what makes one effective and worth your money and time? Even the most expensive cream is only as good as its ingredients. This is where a lot of people get tripped up when trying to decide. They simply don’t know what to look for or are persuaded by packaging to think a cream is better than it is.

Forget branding and shelf placement. Focus on the ingredients and search for the following:

Vitamin C:

  • Vitamin C is an antioxidant that protects skin from the harmful effects of sun exposure.

Hydroxy Acids:

  • The various forms of hydroxy acids are exfoliants, substances that remove dead cells from the upper layer of skin. They are also known to promote the growth of new skin.

Retinol:

  • A vitamin A compound, retinol is a common antioxidant in non-prescription anti-aging creams. It works to neutralize free radicals, which are oxygen molecules that can cause wrinkles.

Peptides:

  • Peptides are often used for healing wounds, eliminating stretch marks and to diminish the look of wrinkles.

Niacinamide:

  • Niacinamide is another antioxidant in the vitamin B-3 family. A natural moisturizer that is believed to improve skin elasticity.

Tea Extracts:

  • Different tea compounds are made from anti-oxidants and can contain anti-inflammatory properties. Out of the different types of tea extracts, green tea is the most common in anti-aging creams.

Some other ingredients that pair well include those with plant-based stem cells, resveratrol and glycolic acid. Look for creams with at least one of these ingredients. There is no data to prove that the more ingredients the better so don’t worry about trying to find a cream that is made with every single ingredient listed above.

In addition, remember that just because a cream worked for someone you know doesn’t mean it will work for you as everyone’s skin is unique. Take note of any side effects, treatment duration recommendations and, of course, the cost. There is no point in buying the most expensive skin care cream if there’s one that could work as well, or even better, at half the price.

Silk'n Titan Anti-aging device

The Titan Anti Aging Device

The Titan is a new anti-aging product that’s proven to reduce wrinkles and fine lines and lift facial contours on all parts of your face and neck. Utilizing an advanced technology, known as harmonized energy, the Titan works beneath the skin’s surface to repair collagen and elastin fibers.

The Titan doesn’t require any recovery time but it is still recommended to use a moisturizing cream after treatment. Picking the best skin care cream (keep reading to learn which we recommend) provides the right nutrients and can complete your skincare treatment, hydrating your skin as the Titan does its work.

The Titan must be used with a slider gel because it acts as a conductor to emit the energy deep beneath the skin. It also helps the device glide smoothly and prevents overheating and reddening of the skin. Simply apply a thin layer of the gel to your skin before each treatment. One tube of the paraben-free slider gel is included, and is also sold separately, or as part of a bundle.

The Best Creams

While it’s hard to say which cream is the best with absolute certainty, as every person has different skin, however these are some of the skin care products that we recommend for use with the Titan or FaceFX anti-aging devices.

These are just some of the creams that our anti-aging experts trust. Whichever cream you decide to include as part of your routine, be sure to do your research first to ensure that there aren’t any obvious issues for your skin type.

Create a Thorough Anti-Aging Treatment Plan

We want you to get the best results from your anti-aging treatments, which includes youthful and radiant skin. This is why we recommend pairing the Titan with a moisturizing cream.

Anti aging moisturizing creams will help replenish and hydrate the skin while the Titan tightens, lifts and improves skin elasticity. Together these products will help form a more complete anti-aging treatment plan that will help ensure you’re getting the most from your anti aging device.
